Clowns & Chainsaws At The Con

We transformed the Hilton San Diego Gaslamp Quarter into Kettle Springs, Missouri for the 100th Annual Founders Day Parade – bringing the slasher film Clown in a Cornfield to life at San Diego Comic-Con 2025 for AMC & Shudder.

We terrified thousands of  consumers over the course of three days, inviting them to face Frendo’s Maze: a pitch black, disorienting maze complete with frightened influencers, chainsaws, and of course, clowns. Guests then entered an eerie, hay-strewn barn meets escape room featuring a panicked girl in search of survival. Consumers had just minutes to find a hidden key before Frendo detonated the TNT.

Once they were out, they entered the Shudder Survivor’s Party, complete with games and giveaways – and relief. The immersive experience included seventeen incredible actors, working together to bring the horror film to life.
